On how to deal with disagreement.

You don’t agree with me

and I don’t buy what you say -

So what now?

Shall we just turn our backs

on each other?

And never have anything

More to do with each other?

How unfortunate that would be

as we have built

our relationship

from the ashes

of our inglorious past; and

how sad it would be

if for a trivial reason,

we would just toss away

our new-found friendship.

So here’s a plea from my heart;

Tell me “I told you so” if you must;

Tease me like you often do

and laugh at my seriousness,

but meet me half way,

as you always do

so the bond that we share

will prove strong and unbreakable

even in times of disagreement..

    Well said. Some people will not meet you half way if you disagree with their opinion. Even so, we should always hold out an olive branch.

    Friends no matter what are the ones you can count on one hand.

    I loved it. We should try to find a way to compromise with our friends and loved ones. There is no need to stand on pride just to get our way.

    This is how I meet my half-of-the-way: CRY your way out. Tears make everything possible with my partner. Ü
