This country was the Spartans of Africa, as my mother’s was Athens. Thought my father’s country is poor and dry they were very educated. My grandfather put all his sons in school and required for them to have a reliable education such as doctor lawyer or government. When asked about the girl he said they were a waste of money because they would just get pregnant and children will burden them. Thought I do not agree with that I was put in to school I think by my grandfather. My sister and I went to school and were separated because of our age. I felt a difference because when you were late or disrespectful the professor would tell you to but your hand out and you would get wiped. I did not like that and in turn I acted like a child and would get in to fights with my aunts and uncle because I was acting out of line. I remember making fun of my aunt and calling her auntie fatty fatty in her native language. I was always saved by grand mother and that was that. When my father visited he was very nice and bought us lots of candies and toys. Though he thought I was a boy he was still nice. I had no recollection of my mother because she never took care of me as a child I was passed on from grandmother to grandmother. That was fine by me.
