Just a poem to vent the anger of attending those meetings which are so boring, with certain participants who are inconsiderate and talk non-stop unnecessarily…

Meetings, meetings

So much to talk, really

When attending meeting I must drink coffee

Otherwise my mind cannot work steadily

Especially after a lunch which is heavy

When I work I have energy

But when in meeting I will yawn, like crying baby

If the agenda is interesting, life will be easy

Sad to say it’s as dull as the dead sea

If the participants are like you and me

We will enjoy as if having party

Instead they are mostly those dull employees

who talk non-stop and mostly rubbish

Get out of hand and hunger for power and authority

Want others to endure by listening to their long stories

Elaborate on those unnecessary

Without giving others chances to talk freely

With these people around I may have migraine and body cell dying

What good this makes actually

Instead of being constructive

It’s wasting important time unnecessarily

Brain cell may also die more quickly

Sleep how long also no remedy

Such loss cannot be repaid by money

as they are jammed in the memory

The phobia and fear will forever stay with me

What can be done by the company

They can only say they are sorry

Guess the only problem lies on certain employees

Don’t know their own insanity

Primary role already cannot do properly

still want to step into other’s territory

Please, in future want to have meeting

Make sure the correct participants are in the list

If possible, exclude these people, please.

So true but I think unfortuantely those people are always there ready to bore the hell out of the walls! This was both humorous and serious.Excellent work!

Meetings are so dull. It’s hard to stay awake. Loved the share.

Star, you speak for all of us. Well-said. Meetings are really boring and ineffective. It’s just a show that must be attended. It’s true that the longer the meeting, the more dead brain cells found. It always makes me feel extraordinary tired.
