A poem about the “less is more” concept.

Honey drips,
slow, deliberate,
into your crystal world.
Staining your clarity
with sticky sweetness,
golden now.
Too much
will tarnish its taste.
Eve grew tired of apples, too.
One drop leaves you wanting,
more becomes mundane.
It’s why you reach for me,
And I kindly stay away.
