The lonely moon peeps at lovers on secret trysts…

I have been suspended in the cosmic vacuum lonely but for the stars
away from my love the oyster, weeping pearls in turquoise depths
and from my infatuation the golden warrior sojourning azure skies
even the mesmerised, lured moths are humming love songs afar

But when the sleepy stars play truant from their vigil
I find respite from my loneliness in gazing with forlorn desire, at lovers

Peeping through the drapes of the window
those opened by the invisible fingers of the lecherous breeze
I see lovers in embrace with bodies bathed in silver moonlight
when caresses of eyes find expression in the touch of mute fingers
and lips sojourn familiar yet mysterious contours of sensual delights
like dewdrops licked by the gluttonous sunshine, pearls of desire
are devoured by the greedy tongue hungry for passion
moans of satiated desire floating in the silence of the sleeping night
reverberate in my soul as a soothing music of blooming love

In spite of the shame felt for these ogling adventures
I always return for more, addicted by the elixir of love…

    Wow what a sensual poem.
It may be just me, but ogling seemed a little out of place compared to the rest of the beautiful imagery.
