The rememberance of a broken relationship can be a hard thing. This poem shows what it would feel like.
As I hold this charm around my neck
All the memorys come flooding back
From the day we first met
To the day of our last kiss
Tears start to sweal in my eyes
I remember the night you said good-bye
Your touch was as hot as fire
As you stared into me with eyes of saphire
We swore friends we would stay
Now that promise seams so far away
We found new people to hang around with
And it seemed over was our promised friendship
We stopped talking
Just kept walking
We look at eachother with distance gazes
The past is behind us
With no future before us
Everything is in a daze
And all we have are the memorys of those once good days
…Memorys…
