Every great warrior
has a trail of bodies behind him
Every great businessman
has a trail of lies behind him
Every great adventurer
leaves a trail of tears
Every great explorer
leaves a trail of machete cuts
Every great man
has shadows behind him
veiled in the empty void
that is men’s past
