In mountaineering, it is observed that going uphill may be tough, but it does not kill as many as the downhill path because of excessive baggage – gravity! One can pick a few lessons for life from this activity.

Glad that it is made that way…

It’s deadly downhill!

Down the Treacherous Path

Climbing’s done with care,

But gravity takes over…

And kills on way down!

Yes, you have to have greater control and hold over self while climbing down, though people tend to think going up is tougher. Good haiku bringing out simple but profound truths.
