When you do someone wrong, the least you can do is make them understand.
Just what was gained from your merry parade
that saw trust broken and a relationship slayed
Just what exactly made you act that way
do not tell me it was just an ordinary day
Placate me and tell me loyalty once existed
that I was not always naive or tricked
Keep dishing out reasons and excuses till something hits home
and I realise that I truly am better off alone
