The time is now

We can not wait

for the world to stop the hate

Let’s put our minds in the right state

Elevate before it’s too late

We’re deteriorating

at a rapid rate

Instead of negotiate,

we eliminate

There’s all kinds of people sleeping on the street

that gotta compete everyday to eat

They’re trying to get on their feet

Some getting burned

because they can’t take the heat

We act like peace is obsolete

because we fear defeat

We want to delete,

find ways to cheat

and use deceit

so we can try to take a seat

among the elite

Lord, check our brain

we’re going insane

It’s hard to maintain

It’s too much pain

The good is going down the drain,

letting evil reign

I don’t like to complain

but it’s gonna make me pop a vein

This still remains

a place where a child is slain

We’re losing more than we gain
