Meteor Shower Expected November 17, 2009.

I saw the meteor shower!
I swear.
Just now,
Just there!

It’s our habit of seeing connections

that makes the meteor shower

look like a constellation shattering,

when in fact these particles of matter

are debris, not shooting stars

but defunct comet dust on fire.

We, of course, are more than frozen gases,

November 17th? Are you sure? That’s one week after my friend’s b’day and 10 days before my other friend’s…also a day before Diamondpoet’s b’day! o.O
