Fun at a friend’s culinary experimentation !!!!
She claimed it’s not her strongest point
that cooking leaves her cold
Anything for an easy life
Her motto from of old
Her microwave is over-used
Hardly a day goes by
When put to use, to save her time
and also energy

Experimenting one fine day
with freshly bought sardines
She didn’t quite expect them
to explode in smithereens
Eyes popped from their sockets
’twas amazing sight to see
Fishes flew all o’er the place
Oh such calamity !

The smell was overpowering
It lingered on for days
So overwhelmed with nausea
She vowed to change her ways
The moral of this story
May now be clearly seen,
And I’ll be much more careful
Where I cook my sardines
