Windows 7 Home Server (that is Windows Home Server “Vail”) of the first beta deadline is Jan. 10, but the Beta 2 still in development, is expected to release a month later, Microsoft Windows for the current 7 Home Server test provides a way to extend the deadline for the system to 3 mid-March.

As follows:

1, installed on the server Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 of RC candidate, download the address .

2, with Connect unauthorized access Connect the official page ;

3, in the left column click on the product key;

4, click for a new product key;

5, access key;

6, in the Windows Home Server, open a command prompt;

7, enter “slmgr.vbs-ipk ABCDE-FGHIJ-KLMNO-PQRST-UVWXY”, the “ABCDE-FGHIJ-KLMNO-PQRST-UVWXY” that you apply to the product key;

8, enter “slmgr.vbs-ato”;

9, restart the server.

Windows 7 Home Server will be in the RTM version of the first half of 2011, and available for sale.
