Midst Of A Storm

Intense tenacious clouds over head

Threatening to release A terrible storm.

Thunder roars and lightening flashes

Sends cold shivers to the bone.

Many A storm in life we must face

A battle of darkness and gloom

When troubles and trials assail us yet

We can find a shelter and safety in Him

Much like life beyond the current

A daily constant battle of waves.

There’s so much to beware and avoid

Seek Jesus for survival at it’s best.

Peace can be found in the midst of a storm

Safety can be reached in the midst of trouble

For nothing can torment your soul

With the promise of the Master of creation.

Jesus in the anchor and shelter in the storm

When tribulations in life brings untold sadness.

We must daily surrender our will to Him

To live a holy life in the midst of a storm.

And yet we see at the end of the storm

As the quiet and peace settles in

Life’s end reward is brightly revealed

For the rainbow of promise appears.
