A simple rant.
You know something’s up when they mind their own business. To what point can the world be culturally diverse when you can’t speak for your own right, in fear of offending someone else. Sometimes speaking out for yourself is not what is acceptable because speaking out for yourself consists of others hearing you out.
I want to be heard, not merely untouched. Being untouched, one might think, is just fine. But for me, being untouched is mediocre tolerance. I am not here to be merely tolerated, I am here to be understood. I am not here to say leave me alone, I am here to say talk to me and enjoy my presence.
Enjoy my presence the way you would enjoy the presence of you mother or child. If this can not be achieved, what is all this talk of humanity and empathy but a lie.
