A modern poem about music…

Music invades my skull

My unruly brain

With its own taste in music

Can torment me

With the Birdy Song

And all that irritates me

Sticks like a broken record

Replaying, replaying, replaying

Doing my head in!

On better days

It plays only the songs

Which delight

And uplift,

Entertain and drift

Timeshift from past

Until today

Way….hey!!!
