Not seeing hope when there really is hope if only you look.

How are you supposed to learn from your mistakes
When they seem to be the only thing that you make
Take one step, everything seems to go wrong
Can’t turn back, what you did is done
Let their words bring you down,
You’re a worthless piece of scum
You think it would be better if you just faded away
Just a few minutes before midnight on your dying day

How are you supposed to wake up
When you have nothing to live for
You keep searching for a reason to breathe again
but there are no signs to be seen
The answer may be more simple than you think
but you are so hurt and scared you let your heart sink
You think it would be better if you just faded away
Just a few minutes before midnight on your dying day

How are you supposed to believe a single word from anyone
When they have fed you lies till you have become numb
They ripped your heart, buried the trust
Let it sit there to rot and to rust
If only you would really search for what you are looking for
You might see that it is right out your front door
but you think it would be better if you just faded away
Just a few minutes before midnight on your dying day

Even though this is mostly a sad write, there is hope within the lines which are well written.

Such anger… and the notion of a dying day is a little frightening. Way to feed an offender his worst fear. Thrilling… now I’m beginning to worry myself.

wow! this is great, the message suits losers who entirely surrenders not knowing that at the tick of the clock, miracles do happen.

Such darkness and sadness, but very well written. Makes me worry about you.

So sad, but hope indeed always knocks on your door. You just have to let it in. Great piece.
