About delusions and narcissism.

Mirror mirror on the wall

Who is the fairest one of all?

Make me into somebody that a handsome man will fall

Line up at my doorstep and take me to a ball

Don’t imitate me. It’s quite intimidating

Is this some kind of trickery or deception?

Mirror mirror, why can’t you tell me?

Are you my reflection or are you another person?

I can’t change myself when I look at you

Take me to the other world and be something of use

Turn me into the most wonderful muse

And I’ll sink in to you and together we fuse

Mirror mirror on the wall

Now who is the fairest one of all?

Guess I am, I am the prettiest one of all

Since silence means yes, and you replied nothing at all

Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Mirror Mirror, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.

If only the mirror could grant all our wishes. A lovely poem.

Nice one Kaye. It’s quite interesting you used a famous fairytale line for your jump off point then enriched it along the way.

Love requires a confrimation–not beauty! You should completely know who you are looking at! Dull but brillant and without makeup. Vibrant and free and in charge! only kind to the real picture and outraged at the lie. We make something so small as face–mean everything in the world and we wonder why we are so shallow and are always seeking depth! Cool!
