It’s just not the same without you near me. When will our eyes meet again?
Few days have passed since I’ve been away
But it seems like a year as each passing day
Without a glimpse of you, my existence turns so weary
It’s just that no one around satisfies me completely.
Though murky, I look up and gaze upon the stars every night
Wishing that somehow you’d be right here by my side
I pine to amaze myself with such a beautiful sight
If only Providence would greenlight me with His might.
How long on earth do I still have to wait?
Is there any other choice than to assent to this fate?
Train of thoughts had ran so swiftly through my mind
This feeling I have for you is eating me inside.
Palpably, I’m missing you like hell
To dump you in my memory trash bin is what I’m compelled
But I can’t do a foolish thing like that
Because nothing compares you as simple as that.
This coveting of your presence might even prolong
I got to hold on and so I must be strong
For someday, somehow, love will lead us back to each other
Sharing moments with you, those would be my happiest days ever.
