This poem is about a plastic surgeon who falls for an ugly girl who wants to be a model. He kills and dismembers anyone who has a body part she craves for herself. She ends up dying from the stress her body undergos. The Surgeon goes insane and puts her stolen parts into a porcelain jeweled doll.

Hello, Beautiful.

Surprised to see me here?

Shocked to see I’m still breathing?

Why do you keep smiling at me?

Why do your ocean blues look so empty?

I gave you everything you wanted.

Eternal beauty.

To be loved by millions.

Forever be a star.

Your gold curls are arranged so perfectly.

Your complexion so flawless.

I never thought those scars would heal.

Why do you look so unhappy?

I found you the eyes you so longed for.

That boy put up a fight, but I prevailed.

I replaced your dense ambers with those perfect seas.

I suffered many blood soaked nightmares to bring you your dream.

After all I’ve done to bring you jubilation you see only what I haven’t completed.

I carved out hundreds of living bodies to complete you.

I stole countless lives just to make you the angelic monster I see before me.

I endured thousands of your jagged insults when you saw someone with a purity you wished to posses.

In the end, your body couldn’t take anymore anesthesia.

Your poor kidnapped heart thumped for the last time.

Your pulse rate monitor screamed at me to fix you.

So I did.

Now you’re absolute.

Completely flawless.

Your eyes are gems of the purest sapphires.

Your hair is spun from the truest gold.

Your skin is assembled from the most fragile porcelain.

You’re getting everything you ever wanted.

Kings and dukes will bid upon your glassed in body.

Children will come and admire your beautiful qualities.

The world will wonder who crafted such a marvelous jewel.

Only I shall have the pleasure in knowing it was I.

You’ll be loved forever, but only while they can look at you.

I’ll be remembered even after the museum lights diminish.

You’re the Doll.

I’m the Surgeon.

You’re the Model.

I’m the Mystery.
