…will always be beautiful and true.
The mornings are different now,
Different knowing he will always be there
Different since the very first day
Our eyes met and love
Created a miraculous pair
I feel the same and yet, somehow new
When he leaves the room now
I feel his presence closer,
Feel his embrace holding me, still
Feel his warmth more vividly
Tell me, my love, how is it possible?
I hear the shower running, hear his familiar sounds
I attempt to change the scenery a bit, and yet
I can still feel his touch and still remember
The caress of his face nuzzling the soft of my neck
The way I view him now is different too
The moments I allow myself to see him as perfect and true
Are everything I have ever dreamed of
The moments of I love you
You and I, my love
It’s forever, it’s enough
You’re my everything
My perfect gift,
My heart, my dreams
Yes, I know you’ve heard it all before
But, it’s something
That can no longer be ignored
It’s always been you my love, my life
Now, and forever more
From the very first adoring glance
To the moment we simply closed our eyes
And finally, took the chance.
