Sometimes freak storms hit in the desert and wipe out everything in sight. It is eerie and scary to whitness first hand…
Monsoon season hit last night,
It flooded everything in sight;
It ripped down fences and uprooted trees,
Rolling two ton boulders with sickening ease;
Carrying it all on a crest of death,
We can feel the roar and hold our breath;
The ground is rumbling beneath our feet,
We bow our heads and admit defeat;
The noise deafening, we cover our ears,
It’s bringing about our terror and fears;
We stop and watch the destruction flow by,
And send a silent prayer up to the sky.
