A poem I wrote during a peaceful night this past summer.

Moonlight so pale
Silvery beams of light
Shine down upon us
On this glistening night

Shimmering stars
Twinkling from afar
Light up the sky
Knowing where we are

Reflecting on the water
Swaying and dancing
We see all the beauty
Without ever glancing.
