Bright moonlight casts the shadows of young lovers.
Moonlight casts our shadows on the wall
Reflected light, reflected from my lover’s eyes
A subtle light that contains so little color
But we need no color, for we are lovers
My fingers do see the color of her hair
My lips taste the redness of her lips
Her skin the finest parchment in its tint
My love for her the color of a rainbow
In moon cast shadows we see our actions
My hands now have come to cup her face
Our lips approach, the distance ever shorter
In touch of lips we see a shudder in our forms
Now the shadow shows her blouse removed
Her breasts soft curves are most delightful
Her firm nipples reaching out toward eager lips
My hands moved from face to find new treasure
We stand naked now in this warm moonlight
We care no longer for our shadows movements
Those are not the real thing
Real is what we find in our lover’s arms
