To me poetry is more than a rhyme,
it is an art I choose to spend my time,
Once I start I always have to go to the end,
or else it seems like pants that are half way
hemmed.

You may say this is fake,
just doing this at a small chance he will get a big break,
but I am genuine as you may be,
though I live the words,
dont just look and see.

I do not say okay here I go,
act like it is a task,
I simply go with my flow,
let me come out behind my mask.

I do not do it for revenue,
to get a good review,
but to see what others think of the true me,
how they may picture me.

Do they think I am kind,
stubborn with a hard mind,
this is what I find out,
to them what do I amount.

Though I already know,
I need no label that they bestow,
I simply want to know there Interpritation,
or maybe if the poem gave them a new realization.

Poetry is something you can not take away,
the art will always stay,
I always will have the creative mind,
how I am feeling, happy, sad, kind?
