Mortified Bounty
By: Noah Smith
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil
We shed our lives of all the toil,
Our spirit flies and visions cease
Our heart enters everlasting peace,
Divest oneself of its mortal flesh
Relax as dreams are started fresh,
The lord has come to take away
Six feet under now we lay,
Never forgotten memories live on
New ones are made though we’re gone,
We will be missed and that’s for sure
Especially when death comes premature,
Our unbeating hearts now lay at rest
As finally comes again happiness,
We now sit low under the soil
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil
