one day Pharaoh got mad 

he told us to kill the only boy that we had 

i put him on a raft of reeds instead

and now i know my boy isn’t dead 

his name is now Moses and hes supposed to save us 

with yahweys help none can stop us 

Pharaoh still says we cant leave 

and if i don’t soon I’m gonna heave  

but god knows best 

so he sends Pharaoh a test 

10 different plagues of horrid things 

i cant imagine the troubles they will bring

Pharaoh finally lets us go

yet he purses us after a bit 

we get away safely in the end

and my son engraves the 10 commandments 

cause he smashed the original ones
