Scary.

In a illustration from Person Geographic Programme’s ordinal most viewed icon gallery of 2008,
Sylvia Renteria recoils as a woman churned by Hurricane Ike meets a seawall in Galveston,
Texas, on September 12. Before landfall, the National Weather Run’s shuddery warnings
of “bound alteration” spurred officials and residents of the maritime townspeople to border for the
worst–and stoked fears of a replay of the disrespectful 1900 Town hurricane that
killed 6,000.

Nice article. That would have been scary. And how did the person taking the photo escape without damaging the camera?

I concur with the above to comments, i wonder how we have the picture, i would imagine the camera must have been damaged badly.
