Come to the mountains with me, we can climb all the way to the top.

When I was a much younger man
To many friends
I was the mountain man
I love the escape
And the beauty and sanctuary
I seek whenever I can
I love looking at trees
I love the sound of the birds
And even the bees
Nothing else quite like
A brisk mountain breeze
I love when they are covered in snow
That’d when I most love to go
Many times I’ve gone camping
And into the mud gone trampling
I’ve taken many a hike
It really helps my psyche
I love the wildlife I see
There’s nothing better
To do
Then have a mountain waterfall
Rushing over you
The water comes out of the ground
And majestically beauty does surround
Nothing is prettier to the eye
Than a giant oak
Or a tall pine pressing into the sky
I gaze in amazement and wonder
The One up above did make
These fascinating landscapes
For pictures for the mind to take
Nothing so pleasing a vision
Of a crisp cold mountain lake
Or the animals approaching
For the drink they will take
I even love them at night
Moonlight reflections
And shadows of the trees it will make
So when you need an escape
Or just to refresh your soul
Climb to the top of a mountain
And you will achieve this goal.

This is really beautiful. I grew up in California and I always loved going to the mountains. I could never decide which I loved more, the mountains or the beach. I miss California.

BoJack-this is simply beautiful.I soaked every bit of it in; as it is so refreshing to indulge in nature. You have uncovered a side of you that so appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like a beautiful place to go for meditation and to re-energize.

I am an outdoors man and I can not imagine anything better than being near the water or in the woods. Good poem.

Outstanding work. I could see and feel the mountains all around me. I think I even got sunburned on my hike.
