Poem/story of forbidden love,there’s a time to drink,a time to play,and a time to let go….

They watched the sunset low in the sky,

Maria saw a little tear in Kong’s eye,

she asked what is wrong,

he was feeling for the mountain all alone…..

He sent you to me,

a beautiful and precious gift,

love for him could never be,

he has been cast adrift…..

One day I shall repay him,

and my love for you I shall share,

then he will not be so glum,

standing all alone out there…..

They returned to their cabin,

coralled the horses in,

bathed in the flowing stream,

both felt refreshed and clean…..

Tonight they decided to party,

just the two of them alone,

both were happy and light hearted,

the little cabin felt like a home…..

Just enjoyed each others company,

their laughter was music to the night,

they danced and sang melodiously,

even waltzed in the moonlight…..

Played the old guitar like he knew,

together singing beneath the moon,

drank a lot of his sweet brew,

both laughed when she sang out of tune…..

Sometimes they would forget the words,

of old songs they use to sing,

quoted her some poems and proverbs,

both laughed when she couldn’t understand a thing,

Spoke of funny things about their past,

of hardcore jokes that made them gasp,

tears rolled as they laughed and laughed,

if only the night would last…..

The sweet brew was taking its toll,

she slurred whats in this brew dish,

said its mixed herbs from a recipe of old,

she grined are you sure your ancestors weren’t Irish…..

In laughter they rolled their heads,

just seemed to giggle at any little thing,

they collapsed together on their bed,

looked forward to what the night would bring…..

Their love making knew no inhibition’s

they were loosen and fired by the sweet brew,

they would love on raw emotion’s,

to satisfy a longing only they knew…..

They feasted on each others hides,

their appetite knew no bounds,

when two lonely hearts collide,

you will hear its distinctive sounds…..

They were in their own little world,

just a boy and a girl,

meant no harm to no one,

just in love and having fun…..

Their skin color was the same,

they didn’t see it any other way,

she saw the beauty inside,

he walked with her with pride…..

Tonight they belonged to each other,

and to that end they gave their all,

sometimes nature can be a cruel mother,

and life can throw a crooked ball……………..to be continued…………

Kia ora Elleword….No that is Mt Taranaki or Mt Egmont, some still refer to its English name, but I have to agree it does look like Rangitoto…it does look out of sequence there Ellewood, it would mean our couple here would have to be on a very high hill to see this kind of view…I use to live in Taumaranui, and use to climb a very high hill out the back of our place there and could sometimes see a view like this….it was awesome…..thanks for your comments here….sweet as…..
