Poem/story about forbidden love.

Taranaki had taken his favorite son,

soon another would take his place,

just as it happened aeon’s ago,

love was displayed with enduring grace…….

Only one body was ever removed,

all due respect and condolences paid,

kong’s body was never found or recovered,

placed flowers where they thought he laid……

Marie would never get over her ordeal,

those last moments she would never forget,

to the authorities all was revealed,

Marie only had one deep regret……

Kong had ignited a love in her,

a love that he would never know,

she never thought it would occur

and she didn’t leave it lying in the snow……

Johaan sulked and turned more to drink,

he struggled with the terms of his life,

the following years would see him sink,

started to abuse and neglect his wife……

Michal claimed that day he saw a vision,

he witnessed a miracle while in strife,

it was there and then he made an admission,

there was a greater calling in his life…….

So with all his fine qualities,

he would travel overseas and abroad,

giving his life helping the multitudes,

and doing the work of the lord…….

Maria never shed a tear or cried,

though her heart was burning in pain,

it was said her eyes just dried,

no tears of anything would flow again,

She’s a symbol of the dead that’s alive,

there’s no words to describe that shame,

she didn’t want to be seen or hide,

she was playing an extinct game…….

Her actions were like puppetry,

She stared emotionless at the mountain,

once it was their song of love,

now it just an agonizing memory……

Through all her traumatic turmoil,

gave birth to a healthy baby boy,

showed no mothers happiness or joy,

all her love had been destroyed……

Gave the baby to Kongs tribe,

they welcomed him with pride,

the child would be raised by Rangi,

was viewed as a gift by many…….

So accordingly they named him,

the impossible had happened,

the atonement and greater offering was given

was paid by a corresponding ransom……….to be continued……

Great, I was surprise by her decision on giving the baby away – that shows the pain she is in, excellent.
