Poem/story of forbidden love its beginning’s its endings.

They spread her ashes over the mountain,

in harmony with her wishes,

death always brings pain,

can also bring relief and blessings……

It is an end of an era,

a age where work came before play,

where there’s no room for error,

and you appreciate your pay……

A time when a man’s word was his bond,

a woman’s place was in the home,

where children were never heard,

and the nights and days were long……

When the horse was the king,

and on Sundays the bells did ring,

the dog was still your best friend,

of your name he will always defend…..

Maria and Kong broke down the walls,

saw only right and no wrongs,

they made their own calls,

and sang their favorite song……

Gave life to each other,

to believe in romance,

to sing and dance no matter,

and to give love a chance……..

Maria was a last of an age,

the last of her kind,

she turned the final page,

and closed the book for the last time……

Now a new dawn is arising,

the age of knowledge at last.

will they learn from the past,

or will the past come a haunting…………to be continued……

Excellent work. This has a sense of finality about it. Beautifully done.
