Poem/story of forbidden love….it just never ends…..

Mariaan
Two years has passed away,
Mariaan came home for the holidays,
was bored and restless,
her mother suggested she go for a ride…….
Grab a horse and go for a ride,
she opted to take the four wheel drive,
Marie warned her not to get into any spills,
especially on the steep hills……
Also told her about some contractors,
cutting timber from out the back,
and the farm manager was moving cattle,
try not to block his track…….
She drove off along the mountain way,
then down into a beautiful valley,
it was a very hot and sunny day,
as she maneuvered along a narrow gully…….

Then engaging a lower gear,
up a steep hill she did glide,
sped down the other side,
scattering livestock with fear…….
Did wheelie’s on flat pastured land,
it was in a beautiful state,
she was still on their land,
she skidded to a stop at a wire gate……
Read the sign native land keep out,
saw the wire gate wasn’t hooked,
and there were no natives about,
surely out here I’m not going to get booked……
Besides in the far off distant she could see,
among the trees a beautiful waterfall,
that meant nice cool water,
and maybe a swim in the raw……

Sure enough the water was clear as crystal,
and there was a beautiful pool,
and not a soul within a whistle,
completely undressed she waded into the pool……
It was absolutely freezing and refreshing,
she splashed about and swam towards the falls,
baring her firm breasts against the cascading water’s,
this set her nipples a tingling……
Then she heard a man’s voice shout HEY!!,
as she was almost out of the water,
she quickly dropped down again,
couldn’t hide anything in the crystal clear water’s…….
She couldn’t see his face properly,
as she was looking up into the sun,
but he sure looked a handsome one,
then again he spoke abruptly…….
You better get out of there,
Some bro’s coming down here soon,
and I don’t think you’ll give them a scare,
you shouldn’t even be here……
Cant you Pakeha’s read your own language, (Pakeha is Maori word for white people)
didn’t you read the sign back there,
hurry up and get out of here,
I’ll wait for you at the gate……
She very slowly drove through the gate,
they briefly looked at one another,
in that magic moment their green eyes met,
it seemed like an act of fate…….

She slowly drove away,
as she looked through her rear vision mirror,
muttered ‘come on turn around’ then smiled oh yeah,
this was the beginning of the end of a new era……………ko mutu…..finish/end…….
