Melting snows renew themselves
On mountain tops so high,
That they gather fast and solid
Beneath an angry sky….

Poem – An Allegory:

Melting snows renew themselves

On mountain tops so high

That they gather fast and solid

Beneath an angry sky.

So do souls, brave, unafraid

Of life’s winds that blow,

Standing permanent and firm,

Gathering like the snow.

Lagging spirits may rejoin

Life’s great marathon,

With eyes open to the sun,

Past life’s break of dawn.

Failures whip the snows of love

That in time abound,

Holding fast the texture of

Fulfillments that surround.

Let new hope, love and desire

Blend, in spite of strife,

Forming snows of sweet success

On mountain tops of life.
