Poem/story about forbidden love… the names and pictures are for illustrated purposes only and is not about any particular place or person (s)…

Many months had passed by,

lonely nights she’d spent crying,

seems the innocent always pays,

when going separate ways…..

Her marriage had come to its end,

where’s theres no love theres no friend,

he couldnt even love her in leisure,

there just wasn’t any pleasure…..

He had finally left for good,

whether it was for love or lust,

these things are never fully understood,

she just believed in loyalty and trust…..

Spends alot of time with her family,

they try and comfort and make her happy,

family photos do bring cheer,

they can also bring tears…..

She adores her two grandaughters,

both her married son and daughter,

produced two beautiful girls,

they were just her world…..

Her mother moved in with her,

family helped on the farm when she’s away,

with her grandaughters she’d play,

sometimes they would come and stay…..

Took a vacation with a friend,

overseas tours the normal trends,

attended some parties and had fun,

danced and played in the sun…..

She met many fine men,

alot showed kindness and care,

treats them all as friends,

theres no one special there……

kept comparing men to her husband,

this she couldn’t understand,

one day she realised,

he was still alive in her eyes…..

Its very difficult to let go,

of the good times and memories,

when their love was young and bright,

and the future was way out of sight…..

Bill was her first and only true love,

was her pillar of support,

she had belief in a God above,

and was in no mood to court…..

Kept herself busy on the farm,

spent alot of time staring at the mountain,

at its beauty and rugged charm,

her fathers words came back again…………..to be continued……..
