This is a poem I wrote regarding the state of the world. This world is saturated with death, decay, lies, deceit and so much more that the time for tolerance is at an end. We need to remove ourselves from the destructive fire that prevents ourselves and others to grow. Instead, we need to find that break in the "dark clouds" and escape, enabling us to then return with the tools we need to allow this world to grow.
Look in my eyes: tell me, what do you see?
The murder of Life, the loss of a Seed
A fire is burning preventing new growth
The poison of lies is a death that you wrote
I will not carry the burden you bear
My own back is breaking – I don’t see you there
The distance is growing; I’ll fade in the night
Separation of body and soul shall ignite!
I don’t hear the mourning, but I feel the loss
The story’s unfolding, still counting the cost
Deaf ears are rising; the blind lift their eyes
But pure hearts see through your disguise
I’ve had enough, don’t feed me these lies!
Dark clouds are breaking – we take to the skies!
Like vultures, you circle: pick flesh off the dead
Betrayed by a kiss like a story you read.
