Moving on

Moving on from a relationship can be harder to do then first thought.

I tried to get over you today

I threw away all that you gave

and decorated everything my way

but on throwing old rubbish out

I found old love letters lying about

I read a few lines and tried to erase

what I had seen each one say

Moments in time captured forever

I realised I don’t want to part ever

moving on is for the best even though at first you wished you hadnt, part of lifes learning ground, nice poem.
