A parents hope, amusement and love.
It was a moment
They didn’t know I could see
The accident was funny
They were covered in mud
They came up giggling
Then their eyes caught
They slowly leaned to each other
My mind went wild
So hard to be quiet
“Kiss Her, Son!” it screamed
Kiss Her! Kiss Her!
I was about to see his first kiss
My eyes began to tear up
They got closer
I’m impatient, “Kiss Her!”
Then around the corner
Came running little brother
The two were quick out of the mud
Ten feet apart
The kiss was lost to the wind
Yet I still smiled
