A love poem written from a male point of view about his wife with a surprising twist.

My beautiful wife

To love

To hold

To kiss

To cherish

To hug

To trust

My beautiful wife

She stands there right beside me

I gaze into her eyes

She looks right back at me

And I feel that love inside

My beautiful wife

Faces me

I open my arms wide

We embrace just for a second

Then go back into hide

I keep on seeing her beside me

But I know she isn’t there

She lay beneath the ground right now

For two years ago

She died.
