MY BLESSINGS

When I awakened this morning
I knelt down to pray
To thank my GOD so merciful
For this brand new day

I gave thanks for everything I know
For the sick and ailing people so in need
To fill their hearts with your glory
And to your words they would heed

Every day is a new day to give thanks for
For the ever glowing sun and evening stars
To be blessed with these wonderful things
And to forget all our wounds and scars

So I praise my GOD every time I think
For he is the life of all the earth and mans
We have to remember this is GODS earth
This wonder he made with his own two hands

So you can see why I love my GOD so very much
For he is the master of all things on earth
And he anointed it with man and woman
Yes, this land,God gave it birth
