A poem I wrote for my girlfriend when she was sad and lonely while she was away.
My angel so dear and close to me
see is my everything there is to be
but alas my angel has to leave me
and make me wait for me to see
her wonderful face once again
But for now here i remain
in the shadows i lay
Awaiting that beam of light
any price i would pay
for that light so bright
and to hear my angel say
Im home
