My books sit untouched for the day

my pen, well what can i say, I don’t know where its gone..

assignments, assignments, i have 2

but to find the want to do them is what i need

I’d rather sit here and read on Triond

watch Oprah,Dr Phil, my sun trying to touch their faces through the TV screen.

TV shopping shows seem more interesting right now.

To be honest I haven’t even looked at the work that needs to be done

So many distractions, so many more things to do

My books, still sit untouched by night, I’ll do them next I say, but next never comes round

I PROMISE I WILL OPEN YOU, I tell my books

mum, mum,mum….my baby babbles he’s more interesting and easier to concentrate on then those books

When he has his nap, I’ll open those books
