My Brother and Me

I wrote a poem called the world doesn’t revolve around you, I sent it to my brother to read, we had not spoke in a few weeks, apparently there was a miscommunication and he thought I wrote it about him so I am writing this just for him for the love I have for him is very strong.

You know a long time ago

it was just you and.

Have we grown apart and

if so please tell me why.

I know we’re busy making

money so we can have a

place to stay…………….

It’s hard adjusting in this place,

with my family so far away.

You know you will always

be my big brother no matter what

It’s been you and I against the

world from the time we grew up.

I love you, your little sister.

Hey come down soon I really

do miss you.

I myself have four siblings and I’m really not as close to any of them as I should be. It’s good that you have your brother and I hope you can rebuild the closeness that you had growing up.

sweet.. there’s a saying.. siblings are like our limbs, and it’s fate that bring us together. We can choose our friends, or spouses, but not siblings.

I can well relate I grew up with six sisters and six brothers
All of them are back in the midwest i am out here alone . i have my son and his family here, but boy do I miss my siblings.

What a beautiful poem! I hope that you and your brother do get a chance to get closer. I am sure he will love the poem. I wanted to add that I loved the pics of the twins. I am a twin so maybe that had a little something to do with it. LOL!
