I have been writing poems for Yahoo,

 Many have adored my work,

 Many also had abhorred it too.

 So some guy did advise,

 As I was so naïve,

 An original poet by birth,

 People would like to plagiarize, my worth…

  So he requested and did advise,

 I should get really wise,

 And find a publisher or two,

 Who would perhaps from me, benefit too.

I have been struggling all my life,

But continue with the support of my wife.

No one has yet come my way,

This did once, or  at times, I did dismay.

  Then came a better suggestion,

 Why do not I send these to Triond?

 They are so very generous, really kind,

This I should accept and really not mind. 

For my thirty poems on the line,

 It should be just about fine,

 One third in pennies they will pay,

 Which should help me not dismay?

‘’ So here I am as a matter of controversy,

 A freelance poet, converted to a mercenary.’’

Still I am free and continue to write,

As well as to continue in my fight,

 As a writer of free- lance poetry,

 Hoping some friends, who do read me,

 Will translate these to Chinese, German or French,

 Before from this site too, hopefully, I retrench.
