Another creative writing assignment. I was told to write something about colors. I wrote a poem. Took me about five minutes.
A yellow sun brings my awakening,
A blue sky my bliss.
A white cloud brings laziness,
A red heart a kiss.
A purple shirt on my best friend,
Green grass in her backyard.
Orange juice in the early morn’
A rainbow-colored birthday card.
Brown leaves cover the cold ground.
Pink-faced, I walk inside.
Gray skies are overhead.
Through black nights, I stride.
