Everyone gets frustrated with their computers every now and then. I am no exception, and because of those frustrations, this poem came about.

My Computer

Here I sit, all flustered and peeved
My mind in a frenzy, feeling deceived
The reason for my sanity, all sickly and dying
Causing me pain, soon to be crying
If only for a moment, I could reason the wrong
Not having to sit here, singing this song

This thing of wonder, it does so very much
Upon it I depend, to more than keep in touch
So easily I am lost, when things go array
Now I know why my head is so gray
The battle rages, the cost is quite great
I’ll fight to the end, but maybe it’s fate

Curses and threats, it does not hear
It sits here and laughs, without any fear
For it knows that I, like bait on a hook
Will do all I can, by hook or by crook
Grumbling and mumbling, in between cries
To keep it alive and prevent its demise
