A poem I wrote when I was in the process of figuring out who I am and who I want to be.
Talented, handsome, powerful, carefree young man.
That is who I believe I am.
No more hurt, no more pain,
Is what I have gained,
From being a working person.
I have worked with my family,
I have worked with my friends,
Nothing feels better then making amends.
No one can tell me what I can and can’t do.
That is for me to decide and not for you.
I go through life taking it day by day,
And nothing that happens will get in my way.
Talented, handsome, powerful, carefree young man.
That is who I know I am.
