This was a short little rhyming diddy that I thought some of you may to relate to if you have ever had a cousin like mine.

Her laughter fills a crowded room

Her scent is sweet perfume

She is like a flower among the weeds

Always in full bloom.

Her heart is like the vast blue sea

Her soul is as a boat

It’s her I come to when I’m lost

When no longer I can float.

She helps me through the worst of times

She shares with me the joys

She has been blessed with nature’s best

Her own sweet little boys.

I am glad that I have had her

To be my greatest friend

We share a family bonding

We’ll be cousins to the end.
