A poem.

As I dance in the moon light.

My eyes are closed from sight.

The only sound I hear

my heart beat pounding in my ears.

It beats to the rhythm of my feet.

The grass is a special treat,

it’s shook of cold,

is a pleasure to behold.

On and on I go,

round and round.

My mind is free,

my body is lost in time,

I feel I will cross that thin line.

Into madness I will never be the same.

It’s starting to rain adding,

to my sense of power,

that I have gained.

A wild woman that will not be tamed.

I land with defeat,

heavy breathing but at peace.

I could feel you watching me,

this is why my dance ceased

This is so lovely it had a melody all its own from start to finish. So well done with a great selection of words to create such a fond image. TX for creating and then sharing.
