A poem about the exhilarating effects of exercising.

My strength is my power to propel me to the edge during this hour.

My heart starts to race,
Awakening my senses,
As I keep the pace.

Blood runs fast and hot,
To feed my hungry muscles,
And simmer each thought.

Quickened breaths inflame,
Reminding my mounting pulse,
Exactly why I came.

Endorphins release,
To satisfy my effort,
And compose my peace.

Just a Typical Date with the Gym…  =)
